The Heartbleed Bug has been getting a lot of attention in the tech world recently. It's not a virus like some people think. It's actually a vulnerability in programming. Websites use something called OpenSSL (Secured Socket Layer) to create an encrypted connection between your computer and their site. Due to on oversight in OpenSSL, hackers can easily obtain user passwords when they log in. Most sites have already corrected the problem, but if someone has gotten your password before the site fixed it, then your password may be in someone else's cyber-hands.
The best thing to do is to change your passwords for websites you have accounts with. Also, we are recommending to our clients to change all your passwords in your internal network as well just to be on the safe side.
